Our first few days of retirement...........

Friday 27th March 2015

On leaving Newhaven we travelled to Galley Hill at Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex where we met up in the evening with an ex-colleague of Allan's from Interface 2, Steve and his wife Christine. We spent an enjoyable evening catching up. We spent the night here and awoke to beautiful sunshine but strong winds.

Saturday morning we spent shopping in Bexhill. Allan went on a spending spree buying a new watch and hair trimmers which can be charged from the USB. It turned very windy and so we left Bexhill and drove to Johns Cross Motorhome Centre "just for a look"and then moved on to Robertsbridge for the evening and had a lovely meal of chicken & asparagus pie with fresh vegetables in the motorhome, accompanied of course by the obligatory bottle of wine (each)!

Sunday we spent a lazy day in Robertsbridge, in the motorhome because the weather was not brilliant but during the late afternoon the sun came out so we went and found a geocache that had been placed since our last visit there.
