Born: 1837, according to the 1861 Reading Census, in St. Peter's Parish Derby. This however, can't yet be verified. Derbyshire Record Office have checked baptism registers 1820 to 1830 and 1830 to 1845, and Derby Methodist Circuit 1833 to 1837 but not found any Broadhurst's. Non - conformist's Derby Independent Chapel 1830 to 1837. Derby General Baptist Chapel 1830 to 1837. Derby Presbyterian Chapel 1830 to 1837 and Derby New Jerusalem, Swedenborgian Chapel, have also been searched without success.

1861 but she is not thought to be of this family.
There were no others.

Amy Martin a widow was the Head, she was a Lodging House
deputy born 1838 Derby, Derbyshire. Amy her daughter born 1870
Southwark. In both cases AMY is very indistinct.
There was also a Charles W. Martin (Lodger) a clerk, born in
India 1841 but he is not thought to be of this family.
