Tom was employed as a Boat Builder
at Cantells Boat Builders,
Robinson Road, Newhaven, Sussex.

On the 26th December 1935 he married
Mary Elsie Willey at Christ Church,
South Road, Newhaven, Sussex.

Tom and Mary had a daughter and two sons.

His wife Mary died in 1976, aged 62.

Before his retirement, he worked as a Carpenter in Rottingdean, Sussex.

In March 1974 Tom Richard Woolgar married again - to Nellie Marjorie Collington (nee Rogers) and their "story" of the long arm of coincidences which brought them together was featured on TV AM - National Breakfast Time Television!
